How partnerships work
1. Vendor-direct discovery and referral — our current starting model
Aana Avanna may publish an approved maker profile, editorial feature or curated product recommendation linking to the vendor's own website. Customers complete their purchases directly with the vendor, through the vendor's own checkout. The vendor is the seller to the customer and receives payment through its own payment provider.
- The vendor retains control of inventory, prices, availability, checkout, packaging, dispatch and delivery.
- The vendor handles customer orders, statutory consumer rights, cancellations, returns, refunds and payment disputes in accordance with applicable law.
- Aana Avanna does not buy, store, pack or ship vendor stock and does not collect customer payments for vendor-direct purchases.
- Any referral tracking, commission, invoicing or promotion is agreed in writing before activation. No standard commission or sales guarantee is implied by an application.
2. Aana Avanna marketplace checkout — not yet generally available
We may explore a separately agreed marketplace model in future. Any AA-hosted checkout, seller payout schedule, payment-processing charges, refund responsibilities and technical integration would require separate written terms and operational approval before orders could be accepted. We are not currently offering a universal seller payout schedule.
Founding partner trials
We favour small, non-exclusive pilots with a limited, approved selection rather than uploading an entire catalogue. For selected founding referral pilots, we may offer 0% Aana Avanna referral commission on the first three attributable completed orders and propose 5% of the product subtotal (excluding delivery and after discounts) from the fourth. This is an individually negotiated offer, not an automatic or universal fee schedule. Tracking, taxes, any charges and settlement methods must be agreed before the pilot starts. Where attribution cannot be agreed, a no-commission editorial feature may be considered.
We do not charge a joining or subscription fee for the vendor-direct referral model unless separately and expressly agreed in writing. Participation is not exclusive, and there is no guaranteed traffic or sales volume.
Tamil Christian faith-resource partners
For approved Tamil Christian faith-resource collaborations, Aana Avanna intends to charge 0% AA referral or marketplace commission for eligible Tamil Bibles, Christian books, devotionals, Scripture stationery and related resources. Any separate third-party charges or future marketplace arrangements would be disclosed and agreed before launch. Eligibility and editorial suitability are reviewed individually.
What Aana Avanna can provide
- A clearly identified vendor profile and relevant curated placement.
- Accurate cultural, maker and product context, with links to the vendor's checkout for direct-referral collaborations.
- Relevant editorial and social features where appropriate and approved.
- Transparent performance reporting where measurement is available, without promising sales.
Our standards
Businesses must confirm Tamil ownership and provide reliable contact and trading information. Vendors remain responsible for truthful descriptions, lawful products, accurate prices, availability, fulfilment and relevant consumer information. Food, beauty and wellness products must meet applicable labelling, safety and regulatory requirements before promotion or sale.
We use genuine vendor-approved product photographs and claims. We will not generate, materially alter or misrepresent a partner's products, labels, provenance or claims with AI without explicit approval. AI-assisted editorial work, where used, is subject to human review.
Nothing is published as an agreed partnership until the vendor approves the material and the relevant written terms. Aana Avanna is an early-stage platform; acceptance and commercial results are not guaranteed.
